Founding Partner

After collecting almost a decade of experience in the areas of national and international contracts and conflict resolution, in particular arbitration, Danielle Farah Ziade works as an arbitrator, lawyer and legal consultant, with an emphasis on civil construction, infrastructure, mining, corporate, venture capital and startups.

Danielle has a degree in Law from PUC Minas and a Master’s degree in Private International Law from UFMG with an emphasis on arbitration. She is a Member of the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (Cbar), Coordinator of the Cbar Blog and Researcher of the Scientific Research Group on Arbitration at Atelier Jurídico.

Danielle’s path is marked by renowned offices in Belo Horizonte/MG, where she worked as a lawyer, secretary of arbitral tribunals and special curator (a Brazilian institute) of complex arbitration procedures relevant to the Brazilian market, administered by the main Brazilian and international arbitration chambers.

She was Director and General Secretary of the Brazilian Association of Arbitration Students – ABEArb and was a Member of the Organizing Committee of the Brazilian Arbitration Competition – Petrônio Muniz (CAMARB), in addition to having published several scientific articles.

Driven by her Lebanese heritage and the desire to positively impact the environments she goes through, Danielle leads the firm Ziade Advocacia, putting into practice her knowledge based on a meeting between tradition and disruption. These are outstanding characteristics of her professional life, combined with clear and accessible communication, making the complex field of Law easily understandable to her clients.

Contracts and Conflict Resolution

Ziade Advocacia has experience in providing conflict resolution services, particularly including arbitration and negotiation, as well as mediation and dispute board, and contractual advice and business consultancy, involving small, medium and large companies.

Arbitration

Acting as an arbitrator and lawyer in arbitrations administered by the main chambers in Brazil, providing assistance in the pre-arbitration phase, including drafting arbitration clauses for contracts, and consulting in legal proceedings involving arbitration matters. In this area of activity, Ziade Advocacia stands out due to the experience of its founding partner in arbitration procedures as arbitrator, lawyer and secretary of arbitral tribunals throughout her professional career.

Contracts

Legal audits ( due diligences ), analysis, review, negotiation, preparation, cancellation or termination of various types of national and international contracts, for individuals and legal entities, in addition to monitoring the management of the contracts in complex cases, with the aim of protecting the interests of its clients, minimize and measure risks and prevent conflicts.

Negotiation, Mediation and Dispute Boards

Assistance in choosing the most appropriate conflict resolution method for each scenario, carrying out structured negotiation and participation in mediation and/or dispute boards, for the purpose of reestablishing communication between the parties, resolving the conflict between them and preventing/avoiding escalation of the litigation.
